The Body Spot reserves to right to refuse service to anyone, any anytime, for any reason.
- Customers may make appointments anytime and are encouraged to do so.
- Appointments can be rescheduled or canceled with, at minimum, a 24 hour notice.
- An appointment deposit may be required to make an appointment for Facials, Eyelash Extensions, or parties of 2 or more for massage.
- Appointment deposits are non-refundable and will be applied towards your service if the appointment is kept.
- Appointment deposits will become store credit, a.k.a "Spot Cash", if the appointment is cancelled with, at minimum, a 24 hour notice.
- Appointment deposits will be forfeit if the appointment is cancelled with less than a 24 hour notice, or you fail to show up for your appointment.
- Failure to show up for an appointment or give cancellation notice will preclude you from making any appointments in the future.
- Customer holds harmless The Body Spot for any injury, reaction, or un-expected result of the services performed or the products it sells.
- The Body Spot perfoms all services by licensed and trained personel practicing industry safety practices and proceedures.
|Privacy and Security
- The Body Spot does not share any personally identifiable information with any third party for any reason, except for marketing purposes, when a customer has opted-in to receive marketing material. Tracking of individual customer activity is only used for keeping track of store credit, outstanding gift certificate and prepaid service, appointments, and market research.
- The Body Spot makes every effort to restrict access to your personal information to all personel that do not need access to this information. Methods include restricting physical access to paperwork and utilizing username/password with monitoring of acess.
- Storage of credit card or other payment information is not permitted at any time.
|Dress Code and Hygiene
- Customers may be asked to leave/change if they are not wearing adequate clothing, or clothing that is offensive to other patrons or personel.
- Customers that are visibly dirty, have an unclean odor or have infectous conditions, including fungal, bacterial, or viral, may be asked to cleanup/leave. Since the majority of our services require our personel to come in contact with the customer, and the customer comes in contact with shared furniture, fixtures, and facilities, we have a duty to ensure a clean and safe environment for all of our customers.
- All patrons must conduct themselves in a kind and courteous way to other patrons and personel.
- Use of foul language is not appreciated.
- Lewd behavior or acts of a sexual nature is grounds for immediate explusion without refund.
|Coupons, Promotions and Specials
- Coupons, unless otherwise stated, must be presented and surrendered at time of service to receive discounted pricing. Coupons cannot be combined with any other promotions, unless explicitly stated on the coupon.
- Special promotions are valid only as described and are subject to change at anytime without notice.
- Walk-In Specials are valid for same day service only as posted that day on our specials board. No rain checks. Cannot be used to purchase gift certificates or prepaid service.
- Online Specials via our website, social media (Facebook/Google+/etc.), or email are valid only as described. Not all specials will qualify to be combined with other offer or promotions, or to purchase prepaid service certificates.
- Gift certificates, gift cards, and store credit worth a monetary value do not expire in complaiance with California state law.
- Lost gift certificates or gift cards will not be replaced if misplaced/lost. Value will be forfeit.
|Free Service and Prepaid Certificates
- Free service certificates for a specific service expire on the date specified on the certificate.
- Prapaid certificates for a specific service do not expire, however other conditions/restrictions may apply. These include but are not
- Valid only on certian days or times of the day
- Valid only with appointment
- Service no longer available
- Service is for touch-up/refill to be performed within a certian number of day of the full service.
- Lost free service certificates or prepaid certificates will not be replaced if lost/misplaced. Value may be forfeit if not attached to your account.
- Refunds for individuals required to leave for violation of any of our policies is at the sole discretion of The Body Spot management.
- Refunds are issued as store credit, prepaid service, or back to the customer in the same form of payment used. Receipt is required for refund. Refunds for services purchased with a credit card can only be credited/returned to the same card the services were purchased with.
- Products are not returnable if opened. Undamaged product must be returned within 15 days of purchase for a refund or store credit. After 15 days, a refund is at the sole discretion of The Body Spot to issue a refund or store credit.
- Defective products will be replaced (if available) at no charge within 15 days of purchase. Products no longer available will result in a refund or issue of store credit.
- Some products have a shelf-life that renders them useless/unsafe to use after a certain time. These products are returnable only within 5 days of purchase.
- Eyelash Extensions services where the glue does not keep the majority of lashes adhered for at least 7 days may qualify customer for a complementry repeat of their service. To qualify for repeat service, you must come in for inspection within 7 days of the original service and is at the sole discretion of The Body Spot to determine if a repeat service is awarded.
- Prepaid service is not refundable, but is transferable to another person if requested in writing
- Prepaid service where the service is no longer offered can be converted to other services or store credit of equal value to the original purchase price
- Gift certificates and gift cards not not refundable. Excess value will be converted to store credit. No cash back will be provided as change for the remaining balance of the gift certificate or card.
- Membership subscriptions are not refundable.
